First ensure you are logged in.
1. Go to the News page.
2. Click the Add Pencil.
3. Type in a Title or Subject.
4. Type a Source.
5. Give a Date of Publication and select if you want this to appear next to the news item.
6. Select when you would like the news item to expire.
7. Check the tickbox next to the Category you would like to file your News Item under, (most people
will only have one category but it is important to tick this box otherwise the News Item will not
publish.)
8. Give the news item a short Description.
9. Select a News Detail Type, pick HTML if you want to type out the information yourself, URL if
you want to link to another page containing the news story, or document if you want to attach the
story as a document attachment.
10. Add the required text, URL or document.
11. Click Update.
